Wheaton vs MIT

Wheaton swimmers met at the Zesiger Sport and Fitness Center on Friday for a much anticipated dual meet against nationally ranked MIT. Although most of Wheaton was feeling fatigued due to 8 rigorous training days in Florida, both the men and women showed up ready to fight. Unfortunately, MIT walked away the victor. Top swims were had by first place finishers, Sarah Houlihan (1000 free 11:18.67), Dania Piscetta (200 free 2:00.39, 100 fly 1:01.18), Julia Wright (1M and 3M), Trevor Deans (200 breast 2:25.25) and Jon Gold (1M and 3M). Julia Wright qualified for NCAA's on 1M. Congratulations Julia!!!

Other great swims included Chelsea Stephenson and Julia Kusiak-Carey (1000 free), Spencer Deans (200 free), Katie Bordeau and Ben Sabol (100 back), Steph Conelias (200 fly, 200IM), and Charlie Western (200 fly). Congrats to a great effort.
