Wheaton finishes 4th at MIT Invite

The men and women arrived at MIT this weekend ready to swim fast and prove to Tufts, MIT, Colby, Bowdoin, Harvard and NYU that they were a force to be reckoned with. The first event of the weekend, the 200 freestyle relay saw Adrianne Madden, Nicole Zais, Steph Perkins and Dania Piscetta swim a winning time of 1:35.61, 4 tenths off a school record, good for an NCAA "B" provisional cut time. The four of them also dominated the final event of the weekend, the 400 freestyle relay with an NCAA "B" provisional cut time and school record of 1:33.38. Other wins included Dania Piscetta in the 50 and 100 freestyle (23.74, 52.38), both NCAA "B" cut times and school records and Nicole Zais in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes (1:05.98, 2:23.14), also NCAA "B" cut times.
